Congratulations SCMESA members on your hard work to reinstate the sales tax exemption for all SC providers! Your commitment and diligence were crucial to our industry and is saving providers an average $10,000 per month. In July of 2024 the South Carolina Supreme Court struck down the sales tax exemption for DME, impacting the services provided through Medicare and Medicaid. |
 | Regular (Provider) MembershipCompany shall be a firm or corporation that is primarily engaged as a dealer providing medical equipment and services to the general public (Cost: $400-$1000 based on # locations in SC. (1-2 branches = $400; 3-5 = $600; 6-8 = $750; 9-11=$1000’ 12+=$1,500). |
Associate (Vendor) MembershipAn Individual, allied health professional, partnerships, manufacturer, consultant or corporations whom, as a result of their business, professional or academic situations, are interested in the activities of the medical equipment, supplies and services industry. (Cost: $400 per company for membership. Additional opportunities for sponsorship at annual meetings will be offered.) |
